Prepaid cell phones

The benefits of prepaid cell phones are not only economical for people who do not have many phone calls, but also can protect users' privacy. By using prepaid cell phone, people do not need to check the balance frequently, they pay their each calls. Nevertheless, due to the absence of detail information and records, prepaid cell phones are widely used among criminals. In my opinion, instead of being banned, prepaid phone should be under control by law. Banning those cell phones and serves can only bring tons of protesters, since people have the right to protect their privacy; however, without any restrictions, there will be a chaos. In oder to prevent criminals from taking advantages of prepaid phone, the government should come up with new laws like requiring identification of users.

Implantable identifiers

Due to the high-speed development of techonolgy, especially implantable identifiers, the rising issue of privacy cannot be overlooked anymore. Some people argue that trackers should also be put on children in order to take control of them. In Brazil, wearing tracking school uniform is mandatory for students. The uniform is just a shirt with tracking device inside; however, I don't think it's far from implanting identifiers into children. Although tracking children can protect them from dangerous situation such as manstealing, it's an undeniable violation of privacy for children. They have the right to keep their track as a secret and no one else has the authority to take it away including parents. What's more, it might be even more dangerous to track children in a mandatory way. If a child wants to skip class, he will find solution anyways. He can just simply give his tracking uniform to his pal, and then his friend carries his tracker go to school regularly without being noticed. In this case, it might be more dangerous. His parents are informed that thier child is in school according to the tracker, but in fact no one knows where he is. Both of my parents were rarely monitored by their parents in early ages, and it's totally fine to raise children without tracker. So, I would protest if the government proposed legally requiring ID chips in children under the age of 5. In addition, I don't think it's good for children's health to implant chips inside skin. As far as I am concern, it's not only harmful for their physical health, but also have no benefit for their mental health. How could you expect the one growing up in a suspicious world is trustworthy? In a sum, I don't think it's necessory to implant children. The society cannot exist without trust.
